Underwriter Opportunities
The 2d National Software Summit (NSS2) will convene a select invited group of senior software and technology leaders and executives from industry, academia and government, to address a number of areas of growing concern with regard to the status of software and the software industry in our nation today. Between 150 and 200 senior participants are expected at this event which will be held at the J.W. Marriott Hotel in Washington, DC, May 10-12, 2004. A series of four "Framing the Issue" workshops will precede the Summit and be reported on in NSS2 sessions. The theme for NSS2 is "Software: The Critical Infrastructure Within the Critical Infrastructures!" The objective of this summit meeting is to arrive at a series of findings and recommendations leading to the development of a national software public policy agenda for the 21st century as well as a call for action.
The Opportunity
Underwriters are invited to help defray the costs of this important event. In return for their underwriting grants, underwriters will receive one complimentary registration to the summit and appropriate recognition in several ways. Appropriate signage will be placed at the sponsored event indicating the underwriter who is supporting that event. The underwriter may also provide literature to be made available to the participants at the sponsored event. In addition, recognition will include listing on the summit web site, in the program materials, and in the published reports of the Summit and the four preparatory workshops.
