CNSS Issues: Trustworthy Systems

The need for Trustworthiness in software intensive systems and the factors which ultimately determine it are not well understood by the public or the nation's leadership. Software system development is often driven by technical requirements alone, and does not adequately address trustworthiness requirements based on societal impact and the consequences of failures.
